Connecting on a personal level is an important part of sharing ideas. On this page we'll present some details about our organization and the people behind it.

Organization and Administration

Wesleyan Youth, Inc. is a private non-profit Child Placing Agency.  WYI has a governing body of board members that meet a minimum of twice a year.  The governing body maintains the ultimate responsibility for the Agency, but delegates the responsibility for administration of the Agency to the Director and the Program Director.

Staff

Wesleyan Youth, Inc. maintains administrators,  licensed therapists and adequate support staff  to support the treatment needs of therapeutic children placed by the Department of Human Services and the Office of Juvenile Affairs.

Programs

We offer comprehensive therapeutic services, individual counseling, family counseling, group, and independent life skills development, basic living skills, and twenty-four hour crisis management. In the spring of 2008 we will begin offering Out Patient services to children who have been in our therapeutic program who have stepped down to a lower level of care or have gone to an adoptive placement.
